Summertime can bring a range of temperatures in northwestern Montana. We advise you to bring clothing that can be layered, and a rain jacket. The temperatures can be somewhat cooler at higher elevations.

We provide pots and pans, a few baking pans, a crock pot, griddle,  a Keurig and drip coffee makers. There are a variety of cooking/kitchen utensils, and knives and an array of spices. There is also a complete set of dishes for 8. If you need anything out of the ordinary,, please let us know as we may have it on hand.

We do allow children, however the unit is NOT child proofed. This is an upstairs unit. We do provide a child gate on request, however you must supervise your children at all times.

This is an upstairs unit so depending on your physical capabilities, it may or may not be suited to your needs.

Although we can never guarantee that crime will not happen on the property, the area here is considered safe. We are located in a rural area off of the beaten path on a dead end road. We do have surveillance cameras on the property, and Terri is a retired police officer.

We are located less than a mile off of the Hwy 2. There is plenty of room to roam, and there are a couple of restaurants just under 2 miles away, however no grocery stores. We do urge our guests to drive if you plan on crossing Hwy 2 due to the high volume of traffic in the summer.

There is a supermarket located in Hungry Horse, just about a 10 minute drive. West Glacier has a small supermarket also.

There are a variety restaurants in the area, all within a 15 minute drive.
