Bald Eagle

I was in Spokane/Coeur d'Alene last weekend to visit my daughter and her husband. They just had their first child (boy). While I was there I spent a couple nights on Lake Coeur d'Alene with my sister. She took me out for a short hike above her home to show me this Bald Eagle that had just started nesting. I am hoping to hear back from her in a few weeks that the chicks have hatched. I will be making another trip or two out there to see if I can get some shots. Last year this same mating pair had their eaglets killed in this nest after they left it alone for a few minutes. Lets hope they do not make this mistake this year. I am hoping to post some more shots in the future if things work out. Wish me LUCK!!!

Good info on Bald Eagles here.......en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bald_eagle
