Welcome

  • gnpToday will feature photos, stories, history, and links relating to Glacier National Park, Yellowstone, Montana and the great Northwest. I may even throw in some things about the Great Northern Railway.
  • This will be a journey to become a better landscape, nature and wildlife photographer. Hopefully this will motivate me to do more photography and also will help me to be a better writer.
  • I have worked and lived between Essex and East Glacier Park for the last 12 years. Having always been interested in photography I finally decided that it was time to learn somthing about it, so I purchased a DSLR about 18 months ago. I have come to realize there is a lot more to learn about photopraphy than I ever imagined, but so far I am enjoying the challenge.
